The 2009 ISHP/Hollywood Heart Fund Raiser Announced as
“An Outstanding Success”!!

Neil Locke, David Shulman and many other dedicated individuals have recently been working to produce a successfully different “event platform” to raise funds for Hollywood Heart.

This year’s September event was held at the Miami Beach Convention Center on the evening before the opening of HD Boutique. A change in the event’s format allowed a more effective program for the vendors to meet specifiers and buyers. Titled “Meet & Greet”, it resembled the speed dating format often used between vendors and their prospective buyers/specifiers.

 It should be noted that a heart felt “thank you” goes out to the 82 vendors listed below, who committed funds to the event. Because of their generosity (even in a difficult economy) the evening raised over $130,000.

Since many positive comments were received about this year’s new format, Neil Locke and David Shulman have committed to enhance the “Meet & Greet” format in preparation for next year’s event.

For the past 9 years ISHP and the vendor community has raised over a million dollars for Hollywood Heart; an organization that provides summer camping experiences (Camp Pacific Heartland) for children affected and effected by HIV/AIDS as well as the opportunity for inner city children to make movies (The Movie Team).
